making a good thing better

Once you face your fear, nothing is ever as hard as you think

Olivia Newton John

I was more than a little saddened by the news of the passing of Olivia Newton John. I was a fan. I was buying her albums long before the ‘Grease’ thing.

Making A Good Thing Better was one of them. You need to go back to 1977 for this; that’s more than a few years ago. It’s not one of her best and I may only have bought it for the cover. I’m not sure and I don’t know that it really matters.

It was a different time. Buying music was a joy. Getting a new album was almost like getting a small physical piece of the artist. Album covers were artwork. Booklets with song lyrics were like little poetry books.

All a bit different from Spotizon or Amafy.
